Megan Corbett

Assistant Professor, College of Veterinary Medicine, Department of Pathology

Dr. Megan Corbett is a board-certified (ACVP) veterinary anatomic pathologist with research interests in the application of artificial intelligence to digital pathology and translational research. She completed her DVM and a PhD in Nutritional Sciences as part of the Veterinary Scholars Dual Degree Program at the University of Illinois and has an extensive background working with animal models of human diseases. After completing residency, Megan joined the Precision One Health team at the University of Georgia in 2024, helping to characterize canine, feline, and avian epithelial organoids derived from healthy and neoplastic tissues with the goal of establishing highly translatable in vitro models for human and animal diseases. She then joined the Pathology Department as an Assistant Professor in 2025, where she continues to work with a team on integrating artificial intelligence with pathology and translational disease models, particularly chronic diseases.
