Associate Professor, College of Engineering, ECAM/CMBE
Kenan Song’s research develops biocompatible polymer and nanocomposite systems using advanced manufacturing to enable cancer-relevant platforms for detection, modeling, and therapy. His work focuses on 3D printed microfluidic and tissue-mimicking systems that allow controlled transport, drug delivery, and study of tumor microenvironments. By integrating multiscale structure design with functional materials, his research aims to improve early cancer detection, targeted therapeutic delivery, and predictive disease modeling.
